If the Windows Installer component had a failed
installation, and it won't work properly afterward or you get
errors when you try to install or uninstall a program such as a
message that the Windows Installer service can't be accessed or
can't be started, or an "error 5: Access denied" error. If this
happens to you, you can fix it by unregistering and
re-registering Windows Installer or by upgrading to a newer
version of Installer. Or you can use Windows Installer Cleanup
to remove the failed installation. In fact, there are several
