Display Settings
Go to Display Properties Appearance Effects and you can do
such things as set desktop icons to be big, put shadows under
the windows, and display window contents when dragging.
Turn on Clear Type, especially if you have an LCD monitor. It
makes the on-screen text much more readable. Also turn off the
fade effects for menus. That effect is a waste of CPU cycles. |
