Desktop clean and free of icons
If you look at the Start menu in XP, you'll notice that all
the items that were on the desktop are now in the Start menu.
It's easy to get those icons back to your desktop. Here's how:
1. Right click on the toolbar in XP.
2. Select Properties.
3. Click on the Start tab.
4. Select Classic Start Menu.
5. Click OK.
After you click OK, you'll see that the icons are back on the
desktop. Click on the Start menu, and you'll see that the Start
menu looks like the one that was in Windows 98 and 2000. |
